Photography post 6: Hunting Post

As I often do, I was taking a walk in the woods behind my house. Being that it was after school, the light was perfect because it was a little before sunset and was the golden hour. In the woods there has been an old wooden, worn-down Hunting stand for hunting deer or game in a tree. It has long since been abandoned but the other day I went back and there a was brand new one in a tree across from it. As I looked up at it the last rays of sun were shining through the wire of the seat. I do not like hunting very much but this picture was a brilliant depiction of vermont and it's culture. Wish I had my camera.
